What profession other than teaching would you most like to try? Archaeology.
Who was your favorite teacher and why? Sr. Georgia Marie, my first-grade teacher. She was so joyful and truly loved every student.
Where are you from and where did you grow up? Minnesota.
Who is your biggest role model? My Mom. She is the kindest, smartest, and strongest person I've ever met. She has touched so many lives and helped so many people.
What are your hobbies? Reading, writing, cooking, baking, hiking
If you could live anywhere else, where would it be? Prince Edward Island. because I love Anne of Green Gables, it's BEAUTIFUL, and it's close enough to my family to be able to visit them often.
What type of music do you listen to? Mostly classical and folk music.
Last book you read?
The Light Between Oceans by M.L. Stedman. This is the second time I've read it. It's so good!
What is the best place to which you have traveled? Assisi, Italy. It was so incredibly peaceful. Like heaven on earth.
What is the best book you have ever read?
Kristin Lavransdatter by Sigrid Undset,
The Bethrothed by Allesandro Manzoni, and
The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas.
What is your favorite thing about working at St. Scholastica? That it is a big family. Everyone loves and looks out for each other. Everyone helps each other succeed.
What is your favorite subject to teach? Catechism and phonics.
What is an item in your bucket list? To visit Africa and Asia.
What would your superpower be if you had one? I would love to be able to time travel.

What if your favorite holiday? I LOVE the Triduum! It is so moving accompanying Christ through his passion, death, and resurrection.
Favorite saint or scripture story? I have so many! Right now I am really loving St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross. She was so courageous.
